OVERVIEW

The Head of Debt Financing will be responsible for developing and implementing the debt financing strategy for the Client. This role involves managing all aspects of debt procurement, structuring financing solutions, and building strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate finance, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in securing financing for large-scale development projects.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s debt financing strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Financing Solutions: Structure and negotiate financing solutions for various projects, including construction loans, permanent financing, and refinancing options.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, private lenders, and financial institutions to ensure favorable financing terms.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for optimal financing strategies.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with various financing options and provide recommendations to mitigate financial exposure.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, financial analysts, and senior management to ensure that financing aligns with project goals and timelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial models and reports to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to debt financing.
  • QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in debt financing, preferably within the real estate development sector.
    • Proven track record of successfully structuring and securing financing for large-scale development projects.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to create detailed financial models.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of real estate financial instruments, debt markets, and investment analysis.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
